For my calender I decided to do each month's theme as it's birth flower. I went with a more vintage feel for the calender, with old hand drawn flowers and campy backgrounds.
For March and April I used the clone stamp to create the image of the flowers on both sides of the piece. I also used the blending options to soften the edges of the stems.
For May and June I created a pattern for each month's backgrounds. I used the image to the left for May. I created the pattern by copying and merging the image into a print.
For July and August I used the stamp tool to create a pattern for the background. I downloaded a flower stamp and used them repeatedly to make a print.
For September and October I used the color replacement tool & dodge and burn tool to recolor the flowers to match the backgrounds.
For November and December I used the free transform pen tool to make the flowers in the print from the backgrounds.
